"The staff were very attentive; when there was an issue with the electric kettle's socket, they proactively helped us switch rooms. Our initial room (ROOMXX07) was quite unclean, especially by the window, and I wouldn't recommend it – if it rained, you could hear dripping noises all night. The new room, however, was excellent and we were very satisfied with it."

"The location is incredibly convenient, less than a 10-minute walk to Feng Chia Night Market. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, so the neighborhood isn't noisy at night. There's a convenience store right downstairs, and it's adjacent to Feng Chia Park.
While the room is a bit dated and uses an old-fashioned key, a huge plus is that electricity isn't dependent on a key card. This means the power stays on continuously, allowing you to return to a cool room even in summer, which is fantastic."

"Great location, the neibhourhood park is a must go place, and many conviences stores and supermarkets. The MRT is only 5 minute walk, can lead to Costco, and Center Centre. Still the best for me and my sons are the leisure and game room, with such a wonder video game machine called ”Supreme X Galloping”, we played the ”Final Fight” in the final night with so much more fun!"

"I can't recommend this place enough! The photos looked okay, but once I stepped into the room, I realized it was truly worth it. The room was very clean and even came with a 55-inch TV, which was perfect for watching YouTube after getting back to the hotel at night. The location is excellent. I will definitely rebook this hotel the next time I visit. It offers fantastic value for money! I'll be recommending it to many friends. I absolutely loved it! 😝"

JJoyWang1006The room was very clean. The location is excellent, being very close to Fengjia Night Market, with plenty of eateries and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were all very friendly. Self-service laundry facilities and water dispensers are also available. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance to visit Taichung in the future.

SSEANIEBEEA 5 star hotel that deserves its rating. Rooms are comparable with Sheraton/Hilton etc... it's a well-oiled machine and everyone was efficient and kind. Shout out to my namesake SEAN in the Prime restaurant on the roof who took care of us with a memorable Christmas dinner. One for any short list in Taichung.

GGuest UserFirst thing , need to thank the counter staff Ona for her good recommendation. My friend who had an accidental fall in the bathroom of the hotel needed medical attention. We wanted to go to the nearest hospital, which there was one near the hotel, but Ona on understanding my friend’s condition, suggested to go to the orthopaedic clinic which is just a stone throw aqua from the hotel. We could just walk there to have her condition examined very quickly ! Had we gone to the hospital A&E not sure how long we would have to wait ! So special thanks to Ona for being proactive and enquire more about the needs of the customers and giving the good advice !
My friend stepped on the door frame of the bath room shower and it was slippery after her room mate had a bath. Would suggest the hotel to paste an anti slip on the shower room door frame
Around the hotel is a great massage place call 湯 村。this place is slightly more expensive but hotel guest has 10 percent discount . The other foot massage parlours around are not as good as this one which has a private room for customers and the staff there professional . Would be great if the hotel could work with this place to get an even greater discount for hotel guests.
For breakfast those that love traditional Chinese breakfast of porridge with condiments would love it ! Those the prefers western would be disappointed !
Hotel is very strict about late check out. For guests staying for more than one night , I think the hotel should be more generous especially if the checkout is on Sunday as I expect there would not be so many guests Sunday to Monday
Overall the stay was comfortable, even for their standard room they have shower with bath tub, a small table with sofa .. this is very considerate , as in Taiwan , it a always great to buy late night supper from the night market and eat in at the hotel room ! There are convenience stall around the hotel and even a place selling ********* style barbecue

AAnonymous UserLocation - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha).
So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market.
It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it.
Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it.
I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient.
The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad.
I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby.
I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again.
(Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card)

AAnonymous UserStayed here from 10 Apr to 14 Apr. It is about 10-15mins walk Taichung Railway station. The hotel is within the central district of Taichung (buildings are older here), but the hotel itself looks and feel relatively new and modern. It is conveniently located near lots of food options, and the Taichung Second Market and Miyahara is only about 5-10mins walk away.
The room is clean and spacious. It has a nice modern design too. The basic amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, lotion and hairdryer are provided. Can’t seem to find local channels on the TV but you can use apps like netflix and youtube.
The hotel also provides complimentary breakfast, tea time (if i recall correctly) and supper. The variety is acceptable given that this is not a big hotel. food is decent too. For breakfast there was a mini salad bar, porridge station, various steamed buns, toasts. For supper, there were braised minced meat rice and side dishes, soup, DIY noodle station, steamed buns, toasts, DIY beancurd station, some snacks/tidbits. There is also dessert with red/green bean soup, drinks and ice cream.
Just one minor hiccup - a false fire alarm was trigger at 4am on one of the nights which only affected the higher floors from 9th storey and above. The guests on our storey werent aware if the lift is working or if it is safe to use and we ended up climbing the stairs down, only to find out later that there was no real fire. The affected guests waited at the lounge for about 30mins as the alarm was still ringing. The firemen eventually came and turned off the alarm. The hotel did apologise for the inconvenience by pasting a notice in the lift and informed guests to reach out to them if there are any queries. It would be nice if the hotel can engage the affected guests more directly and possible provide some form of compensation as service recovery.
Nonetheless, still a pleasant stay overall!

GGuest UserFor a budget hotel this hotel is a good deal. Although the room is very small (quite a struggle to fit a medium or large size luggage), it’s clean, with a good temperature control and a good firm bed with comfortable blanket (pillow is a bit on the soft side, and only 1 pillow supplied). The breakfast meal is just alright (asian/chinese style breakfast with soup, egg dish, cooked vegetables and stir-fry meat, no fruits, yogurt or salad). The location is amazing, short walk to Taichung station, bus stops and very close to 7-11, supermarkets and Taroko Mall. The hotel doesn’t provide too many amenities (slippers available from the lobby, other amenities are available for purchase from the lobby, kettle and cups are available, 2 water bottles are provided daily). Overall this hotel provides an adequate lodging in a convenient location.

MMEI CHENFantastic! They offer an evening shuttle service to Fengjia Night Market, which saved us the hassle of finding parking. Our driver was friendly and courteous.
The room was spacious and featured a large bathtub, and most importantly, it was impeccably clean. Our kids absolutely loved it!
The late-night snacks and breakfast were also a great bonus, both very generous and delicious.
When we visited the gym in the evening, it was empty, so we had it all to ourselves.
